How much does rubbish removal cost in Melbourne?

It depends on volume, waste type, weight and how far we have to carry it. A couple of items out the front is a minimum-charge job; a full garage or a heavy mixed load is priced on the truck space and disposal fees involved. Sending photos is the fastest way to get an accurate number instead of a broad range.

Yes — that's how most of our jobs are priced. Photos show us the volume, the waste type and the access, which are the three things that actually drive the cost. If something isn't clear we'll ask one follow-up question.

Do you offer same-day rubbish removal?

Often, subject to crew and truck availability. Send photos early in the day and let us know it's urgent — we'll tell you straight away whether a same-day slot is realistic.

Is rubbish removal cheaper than hiring a skip?

Accepted Answer

Not always, but it's usually less hassle and you only pay for the space your rubbish actually takes up. With a skip you pay for the whole bin whether you fill it or not, and you do the loading. We'll give you a straight answer once we've seen the photos.

Do you remove mattresses?

Yes. Mattresses carry a specific disposal fee at the transfer station, so they're priced per item and we'll tell you the cost upfront.

Can you remove renovation rubbish?

Yes — plaster, tiles, old cabinetry, timber, carpet and mixed debris. On longer renovations we can come back between trades rather than doing one big clear at the end.

Small quantities, yes, priced by weight rather than volume. Larger volumes need a dedicated load, so tell us roughly how much there is.

Can you clear an entire garage?

Regularly. Put anything you're keeping to one side and we'll take the rest, then sweep the floor before we leave.

Do you remove green waste?

Yes — branches, prunings, clippings, soil and old garden beds. Clean green waste is cheaper to dispose of, so mention it if your pile has no general rubbish mixed in.

Do I need to move my rubbish outside?

No. We carry it out from wherever it is, including upstairs, out the back or down a driveway. Just include the access in your photos so we can allow the time.

What rubbish can't you take?

Accepted Answer

Asbestos, chemicals, liquid waste, gas bottles and other regulated materials need licensed handling and aren't part of a standard collection. If you think any of it is present, tell us before we quote so it's handled properly.

Do you clean the area afterwards?

Yes. We sweep the area once the load is on the truck — garages, driveways and yards are left tidy.

Can builders arrange recurring rubbish collections?

Yes. Builders and trades can set up scheduled weekly or fortnightly collections across multiple sites, or call us in as needed.

Do you service Craigieburn, Epping and Donnybrook?

Yes, all three are inside our core service area along with the rest of the northern growth corridor. Donnybrook sits near the centre of the area we run.
